I've shown you Close To My Heart's Flip Flap Memory Protectors before but today I wanted to show you a new way that I am using them. Nothing earth shattering but solves a problem for me. With my Project Life album I'm regularly finding that I have one or two vertically oriented photos each week or so. When I have more than that I put them in a vertical pocket page protector. I have several varieties of those. But with 1 or 2 I didn't know what to do...until now.
Here is the acutal Flip Flap. Clear pocket for one or two photos front and back. The white strip pulls off with the adhesive strip underneath.
I cut a piece of cardstock approximately 5 1/2" x 7"
and punched holes in the left hand side.
I slid my photo into the Flip Flap.
Adhered the Flip Flap with photo onto the cardstock.
Placed the Flip Flap with photo into my album. How simple is that! I love simple!
The best part is that this photo is now able to be seen along with the other 3 photos taken at the same time!
I still can add another photo to the back of this one and it would just flip up to see it.If I don't have a second photo I can put cardstock with some journaling, stamped images or embellishments on the other side.

Close To My Heart's Flip Flaps
Yay! I got my Blogger problem fixed! Finally! Found out that a recent upgrade to Internet Explorer is incompatible with Blogger. Fustrating!
Anyways, I want to finish up with the Flip Flaps and flip flops in this post and the next. I previously posted regarding Close To My Heart's 4 x 6 Flip Flaps. This post is about their 12 inche assorted Flip Flaps which I just happened to find looking through their Idea Book to re-order the 4 x 6 ones. As you can see by the photos each one is 12 inches tall but there are 3 different widths. I've not used these yet but will post a photo when I do. The 4 x 6 are super easy to use and create a nice little mini-book in your album. Word of warning - the adhesive is very strong so make sure you are putting it exactly where you want it as I
ripped a page protector pocket when I attempted to move one of the 4 x 6 Flip Flaps.
Next post up - flip flop fasterners!

Flip Flaps
Here is a package of Close To My Heart's Flip Flaps and one of the Flip Flaps next to it. These are great when you have a couple more photos to add but not enough to fill an entire page protector. In the second photo you can see that I've added the Flip Flaps to the bottom right corner of one of Becky Higgins page protectors - known as Design A to Project Life'rs. In the third photo you can see that I've 2 Flip Flaps to the right corner with photos front & back. Great way to create a story with photos.
