Top Coats
Here's another item that I have found for use with my Project Life album Its another product from Close To My Heart called Top Coats. The item number is Z1211 and contains 12 - 4 x 6 overlays. Some have a white design and some have a colonial white design (frames on the overlay). I'm not sure if you can see the difference in the photos below. I apologize for the quality of the photos. I try to take photos in natural light but with the gloomy weather we've had this spring its been hard to do. I also have "help" from my 2 cats who pretty much leave me along until I'm working on the laptop (Patch loves the heat from it) or crafting. So if you see
shadows on the photos its probably one of the cats.
Also the overlays have a sheet protecting the front that needs to be peeled off so they look a little cloudy until you remove that. These can be ordered through your local Close To My Heart consultant or online through a consultant's website.
Next post will be on Sunday for the One Little Word Blog Hop - hope you'll stop by. I'm having a giveaway and I know that at least one other blog is also having a giveaway.

Close To My Heart Level 2 Journaling Spots
In my search for things to help make my Project Life easy to do and have variety I found these little cards from Close To My Heart (CTMH). They actually are journaling cards to go along with the Lucky paper pack but they fit perfectly into the 3 x 4 pockets of Becky's page protectors that come with the Project Life kit. Disclaimer: I am NOT a CTMH consultant (used to be). I do have a friend that is and I order regularly from her. If you are looking for any of the CTMH products I've posted about go to their website http://www.closetomyheart.com/ and click on Consultant Locator. You can find one near you or order from a consultant's website online. I like the kraft paper that these are made of and the fact that I don't have to make them or stamp them. Ready to go right out of the package!
flip flop fasteners
The flip flop fastener is a clear poly tab (archivally safe) that allows you to create a hinge as you can see in the second photo. So far, I've only used these on my journal cards for Project Life as I want my photos protected with the CTHM Flip Flaps. I can see a lot of use for this on layouts as I begin to add more of those to my Project Life album(s). I ordered these from Amber's Scrap Attic, an online store. Her link is http://www.ambersscrapattic.com/
The product is from Boxer Scrapbook Productions LLC at http://www.boxerscrapbooks.com/ I've added a photo of the package for you to see.
Close To My Heart's Flip Flaps
Yay! I got my Blogger problem fixed! Finally! Found out that a recent upgrade to Internet Explorer is incompatible with Blogger. Fustrating!
Anyways, I want to finish up with the Flip Flaps and flip flops in this post and the next. I previously posted regarding Close To My Heart's 4 x 6 Flip Flaps. This post is about their 12 inche assorted Flip Flaps which I just happened to find looking through their Idea Book to re-order the 4 x 6 ones. As you can see by the photos each one is 12 inches tall but there are 3 different widths. I've not used these yet but will post a photo when I do. The 4 x 6 are super easy to use and create a nice little mini-book in your album. Word of warning - the adhesive is very strong so make sure you are putting it exactly where you want it as I
ripped a page protector pocket when I attempted to move one of the 4 x 6 Flip Flaps.
Next post up - flip flop fasterners!

Next One Little Word blog hop May 1st
I was going to post some more information regarding Project Life, Flip Flaps and page protectors but for some reason I'm unable to upload my photos today so I've switched topics. A week from tomorrow (May 1st at 11am EDT) will be our next One Little Word (OLW) blog hop. For April, Ali has invited us to write a letter to ourselves to be read again in one year. We are to take stock of where we are right now, envision where we want to be, set some intentions and write it down in letter format. Mine is done and its several pages long. I got pretty specific hoping this will help keep me accountable. This one is going in an envelope to open & read in a year. I'm going to do a shorter version on the download that Ali provided. I've also continued March's project as I'm continuing my weight loss journey (slowly). You'll be able to see both on May 1st. Hope you stop back then!
